Scott K. Sloan passed away suddenly on Friday, November 14, 2014 at the age of 54. He was born in Santa Fe and raised in Tesuque. An avid outdoorsman, Scott loved fishing, hunting, golf, as well as family gatherings. He also enjoyed painting, wood working and photography.  Always a hard worker, Scott had careers in the rental car industry, handyman business, real estate and finally as an independent roadside service attendant. Scott is survived by Charlene Gerlach; daughter, Cristina Majewski (Dominick); unborn grandson, Hunter; parents, Billie and Don Sloan; brother, Floyd (Kim); sister, Donna Hecht (Glenn); in-laws, Charles Gerlach, Jr., Cathy, Carol, Cindy and David. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; including extended family in Las Cruces and Roswell. He will be missed dearly by many friends, family and his loyal canine companion Spanky. A celebration of life will be held on Friday November 21, 2014 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at McGee Memorial Chapel.
