Mary Salazar-Thorp, November 4, 1918 – January 31, 2013
Mary, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away on January 31, 2013 at 2:15 a.m.  Mary was born in Nambe, New Mexico to Federico Salazar and Rufina Sena Salazar.  Mary was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Joe Salazar and his wife Stella Garcia Salazar, brother Freddie Salazar, sister Elisaria and her husband Joe T. Trujillo, beloved niece Mary Frances Salazar and grand niece Michelle Trujillo.
In previous years, Mary worked for the federal government in Vallejo, California, and in Santa Fe she worked for the Bureau of Revenue, The State Corporation Commission and the State Land Office which she retired in 1984.
Mary is survived by her nephew David Trujillo, grand nephews Davy and Danny Trujillo, niece Christinia Salazar-Ertmer, grand nephew Joseph Senna and his children  Vincent and Nicholas, nephew Carlos Salazar and sister-in-law Darlene Salazar of Nambe and numerous relatives and friends.
Mary was an avid traveler, a devout Catholic and belonged to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Santa Fe.
The cremation has taken place.  A rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Funeral Service.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday, February 8 at 9:00 a.m. followed by interment at Rosario Cemetery.
